At CABĀ, we are continuously looking for ways to enhance our sustainability efforts and minimize our environmental footprint. We work with high quality, low impact materials that are sourced from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Since we want you to be able to carry your CABĀ for a lifetime, we choose to work with natural leathers rather than vegan/synthetic leathers. A natural leather has an increased durability, allowing our designs to maintain their shape.
While we don’t have a specific project for surplus materials yet, we are exploring exciting possibilities for repurposing and reimagining materials from previous collections. By utilizing surplus leather, we aim to create new pieces that maintain the same high standard of quality while reducing waste. This is just one of the many steps we are taking to make our brand more sustainable and align with our commitment to creating beautiful, timeless products with a lower environmental impact.
